Since the first OFF THE RADAR saw the light of day in New Zealand, we have significantly reduced our ecological footprint. By not organizing events for years, we have almost made up for the climate mess we made back then. Nevertheless, the world around us is getting worse and worse.
So it's time for new formats. Space for new festivals, open to new sounds. We want to link up, as equals and face the general horrors of the world together, perhaps even counteract it, perhaps even crack open something new. In (almost) the whole city, in many trusted venues. With new friends and old companions. A cleansing thunderstorm, so to speak. A lasting storm surge. A beginning. We have big plans: a city festival in our beloved habour. Hamburg, let's go!
Which artists can we expect?
It's not enough for us to put on concerts and set off rave grenades - OFF THE RADAR has never been a simple music festival. We draw lavishly from all areas of melodious sound and noise wonderland, from avant-garde, punk, up- and down-tempo, live and sampling, robotics and theatricality, performance and art. In public space. In the shadows. In the light. With brute words and musical noise. Spoken, sung, slurred, wispered. With delicate force and powerful tenderness. On the city’s famed stages and in forgotten corners where the rot of the past still lingers — but come September, they’ll blaze with new light.

The connoisseurs of Hamburg's nightlife, will notice that one or two places do not appear on this exquisite list. For some, our request came too late, for others too early. However - we know its a marathon ,not a sprint - and will certainly expand our locations considerably in the coming editions. PENG PENG.

This code is your portal to the festival matrix. It is unique and non-transferable.
Why?
This has advantages for you and for us: You can create a personal notepad with your program favorites and curate your festival experience yourself and share it with your friends. During the festival, you can check the utilization of the venues and updates in real time. This makes sense because our venues all have different capacities and are scattered across Hamburg. The more of you who create a program notepad, the better we can forecast admission stops, for example, and save you unnecessary travel. And you make it easier for us in the logistical planning and for smooth sailing on the day/night. We know, its so hi-tech and future of us! And on that note, stay tuned and rave on.
